My plans & programs are not based solely on fitness and weight loss, It's about making a complete, healthy, permanent lifestyle change. I want you to look and feel great physically, mentally, and emotionally. Accomplishing this goal begins mentally; changing and focusing your mindset, is what it takes to achieve, accomplish, and maintain each goal for the rest of your life. Once the mind has committed the body and soul will follow. This may be different for each person, so we start with wellness. I teach my clients healthy routines for sleeping, dealing with stress, and how to replace not so good habits with great habits. Next, we move on to healthy nutrition habits, kitchen assessments, meal prepping, and great fitness plans. All of my clients are surprised at how much strength and will power they have once they get started; and you will too!

When it comes to preforming as an Athlete and Strength-Trainer, yes your training regimen is important. However, the most important fitness factor is nutrition and not just any type of nutrition. Whether you strength train to stay in shape, compete in strength-training sports, or want to improve your athletic ability. You are a strength trainer and you have specific nutritional needs that overlap with your other athletic goals, and depending on your type and level of activity. About Tara Carmichael

I am a Certified Personal Trainer, CPT and a Certified Holistic Coach, CHC specializing in Fitness, Nutrition, Wellness, and Personal & Spiritual Growth. I help school age children (Athletes) to middle age adults (Athletes) who struggle with personal and physical development. What makes me unique and different? I have a background in counseling and experience in overcoming my own personal and physical challenges. I am passionate about helping others reach their personal fitness goals through education and guidance while focusing on nutrition, wellness, and encouraging an active lifestyle. I have a well-rounded career background that includes coaching, counseling, and education. I've acquire a B.S. in Educational Child Psychology from University of Memphis and a M.S. in Professional School Counseling from Tennessee State University. I received my certification as a Holistic Life Coach from Radiant Health Institute and Personal Trainer certification through NSCA. I believe that a new start on life can happen at any time, it starts with the mind first. Once the mind is ready and focused, the spirit and body follows!
